But don’t sweat, as we’ve got you covered.
Here’s a list of the 10 best-looking shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A that trainers are most excited about!
10 Magikarp

Magikarp is one of the most beloved yet useless Water-type Pokemon from Generation 1. In its usual form, it’s reddish-orange, but when caught as a shiny in Pokemon Legends: Z-A in Wild Zone 2 and Wild Zone 6, it turns into gold.
Still find it not good enough? Well, try evolving it as it becomes shiny Gyarados with a bright red color that will leave you stunned, which also has a Mega form.
9 Tryunt

Many people assume that fossil Pokemon simply can’t be shiny in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. However, that’s not the case. So, always keep an eye out for Tyrunt, a Generation VI Rock/Dragon Pokemon that basically looks like a T.Rex. When it’s in the shiny form, it will turn into a bright blue color, which makes it look spectacular.

However, obtaining Tyrunt won’t be an easy task, as it requires you to restore a fossil. Obtain a Jaw Fossil from the Stone Emporium and give it to the researcher at the Research Lab, where it will be turned into a Tyrunt. Keep doing this until you finally get that blue Tyrunt.
8 Ralts

If you loved Tyrunt’s shiny, you’ll definitely want to check another stunning blue shiny, Ralts in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. This dual-type Psychic/Fairy Pokemon that not only looks breathtaking in its shiny form but can also evolve into either Gallade or Gardevoir, which also have their own Mega Evolutions for you to stomp your enemies with.
The Mega Forms continue the blue theme, but with even more additions. You can easily try hunting for shiny Ralts in Magenta Sector 7 in the garden area.
7 Machamp

Now, let’s shift from blues to green shines. First up, we have Machamp, who is another Generation 1 Classic, and a Fighting-type Pokemon. You can’t catch it directly, as you’ll first need to hunt down a shiny Machop in Wild Zone 12 or Wild Zone 8, then evolve it into Machoke, and finally into Machamp. The transformation from the regular blue color to green here is really striking.
6 Salamance

Let’s keep the green streak going with Shiny Salamence. This pseudo-legendary Dragon/Flying Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A transforms into a bright green colour with orange wings in its shiny form.
The colour scheme goes into its Mega Evolution as well, which makes it a true terror in the sky. Be sure to hunt down as many Bagons in Wild Zone 18 as you can so you can get this shiny Pokemon easily.
5 Evee

We’ve seen hundreds of shiny Pokemon in the entirety of the franchise, but the one that’s one of the must-haves in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is Generation 1 shiny Eevee.
It’s while colour looks absolutely stunning on its own, and you can even evolve it to any of the Eeveelutions to get equally unique shiny forms. Luckily, finding this mon would be an easy job, as it’s found in multiple areas of the game, such as Wild Zone 19 and Bleu Sector 7.
4 Lucario

When it comes to the iconic faces of the Pokemon franchise, Generation IV’s Fighting/Steel-type Lucario is definitely a name that stands out. Its regular form with blue color is already quite menacing, but Game Freak gave it a shiny, which made various parts of its body turn into a striking yellow color.
If that wasn’t enough, Lucario also has a Mega Evolution where the shiny form looks even more brutal. To get a shiny Lucario, you need to find a shiny Riolu. So, head to Rogue Sector 4, and look on rooftops.
3 Larvitar

Next up is Larvitar, another Generation II Pokemon that’s one of the fan-favorites for its Rock/Ground typing. Hunting down its shiny variant in Pokemon Legends: Z-A can prove to be quite a challenge, but it’s worth the effort.
Shiny Larvitar doesn’t change much in terms of looks but has subtle differences, such as in the eyes and underbelly. Evolving it to Tryanitar only makes the shiny look better.
2 Dragonair

Ask any Pokemon fan out there which Pokemon they find the most majestic and beautiful, and the answer will be Dragonair. This Generation 1 Dragon-type transforms into a stunning pink in its shiny form with golden orbs around it.
The only downside of this form is that evolving it will turn Dragonair into a shiny green Dragonite, which is kind of a bummer considering how beautiful it looks in pink. The only saving grace is that Mega Dragonite at least takes the color back to blue.
1 Metagross

Isn’t Metagross the coolest Pokemon in the entire franchise? This is a Steel/Psychic pseudo-legendary, introduced in Generation III, that has a metallic grey with golden claws, and a golden cross on its face in the shiny form.
Its appearance only gets more aggressive once you Mega Evolve it. To catch a shiny Metagross, you first need to try your luck finding a shiny Beldum, which will prove to be quite a big hurdle!
