17-Year-Old Former AGT Contestant Found Dead
A former ‘America’s Got Talent’ contestant, 17-year-old Emily Gold, was found dead in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The local high school student’s body was discovered beneath a bridge next to a freeway on Friday. Law enforcement says her death is being investigated as a suicide. Emily was part of the Los Osos High School dance team, whose performance on the reality competition series in August elicited judge Simon Cowell to proclaim, ‘It was absolutely brilliant.’ Speaking with ET on the red carpet at ‘AGT’s premiere last month, Emily said of her hometown, ‘We’re such a tight-knit community and we just love the support.’
