The first domino to fall on Fremantle’s finals hopes could come down earlier than expected as a possible worker’s strike has the AFL scrambling to bring forward Hawthorn’s clash with North Melbourne.
Hawthorn are scheduled to battle a struggling North Melbourne at 2:35pm at the UTAS Stadium but according to reports in the Herald Sun, industrial action from the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union of Australia (CEPU) could see the venue plunged into darkness if the power went out.
