Fremantle has confirmed star midfield recruit Aisling McCarthy is battling bone bruising in her knee, leaving her in a race to be fit to face Melbourne on Sunday.
McCarthy was a late withdrawal from the Dockers’ side that beat Port Adelaide at the weekend with soreness in her knee.
