Alpha Protocol returns after 5+ years

Alpha Protocol, the niche and cult classic espionage RPG created by Obsidian Entertainment has resurfaced after its delisting in 2019. It even has its licensed soundtrack.

In what feels like a YouTube announcement frankly out of left field, game selling platform GOG announced that it’s revived the Sega-published espionage game, starting its life back up. On top of being accessible again, it also comes with full controller support, plays nice with modern operating systems, and has cloud save support.

If that wasn’t enough, it also comes packaged with the previously exclusive to console achievements and its licensed sountrack, which was what got the game in hot water in the first place, returns. Hopefully, Alpha Protocol will be here for good this time around and the folks at GOG will keep up with it. Oh, and it’s also discounted right now until April 3.
