As Bloodborne PC Port Looms Near, There’s Only 1 Way to Beat a Maddeningly Tough Boss from Hidetaka Miyazaki’s House of Horror
The PC emulation of Bloodborne has made a major breakthrough, as the game is finally up and running on the ShadPS4 emulator. Fans of the Soulsborne genre have been waiting for an official release of the game on PC for ages, but Sony never gave them anything.
While many fans had pretty much given up hope of seeing Bloodborne on their PCs, ShadPS4 has rekindled those hopes. As gamers wait for the unofficial port’s release, they’re now wondering how they’ll deal with the game’s most terrifying bosses crafted by Hidetaka Miyazaki as it’s known to wreak havoc.
Gamers Can’t Figure Out How to Beat Ludwig in Bloodborne
There’s no doubt that Ludwig, The Accursed, is the most formidable enemy in Bloodborne. He is known for his relentless aggression and massive size. Once he obtains the Holy Moonlight Sword, he transforms into Ludwig, The Holy Blade, a brand-new entity.
With the game’s PC port right on the horizon, players have been jumping back to the game on their PS4s to prepare themselves. Most of the community had forgotten entirely about Ludwig’s wrath and now can’t figure out how to take the boss down.

The main challenge when it comes to battling Ludwig is that his attacks are rapid, and his transformation midway through the fight introduces even more aggressive moves.
The only way to deal with this, as pointed out by a Redditor, is to constantly dodge and time your attacks to overcome Ludwig.

Aggression is the key when it comes to defeating Ludwig. With the right weapons and items, you can spam attacks that can instantly beat the boss.

Veterans who’ve faced Ludwig before believe serrated weapons are the only way to beat him.

If you’re looking to progress through the game fast, summon NPCs, as they can help you with distraction and tanking the hits from the boss.

Bloodborne, just like all FromSoftware games, is known for its difficulty and often be a frustrating experience if you’re trying to survive in its harsh players.
So, it’s no surprise that gamers are finding themselves struggling against Ludwig. However, it’s only the start. The game is packed with even more challenging bosses, which will indeed prove to be a nightmare for gamers once the PC port finally debuts.
When is the Unofficial Bloodborne PC Port Coming Out?
The community’s efforts for the rapid development of ShadPS4 have clearly paid off since the PC port of the Soulsborne game is finally in a playable state and has a release date.
User Pirat_Nation, who has constantly updated the community regarding the game’s port on PC, revealed on X/Twitter that the game will be playable in less than two weeks!

Sure, it’s great to see we finally have a release date for the port, but let’s not forget the fact that, after all, this is a fan-made project. The estimated timeline can go south at any time due to last-minute bugs and technical issues. Just a few weeks ago, the game didn’t even make it to the loading screen and crashes randomly.
The developers of ShadPS4 want to bring an experience that’ll match the official PlayStation ports experience. So, if there are any gameplay issues and glitches persist, the port might get delayed.
