Beyond Portia and Sandrock: My Time at Evershine Promises a Bigger and Better RPG

What the heck are these character designs? They seem out of place in this world, lost all the charm of the original games. The games had a nice style to them. I get that they’re trying to make the game appeal to older audiences, but the world itself didn’t change much, so it just looks odd. (like at the part when they’re fighting the cartoon looking gophers)
