The Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area is being held back due to a lack of funding and environmental approvals, according to a regional investment prospectus.
The Bunbury Geographe Economic Alliance — made up of the Bunbury, Capel, Dardanup and Harvey local governments — pointed to the Kemerton plant as a key area of development needed to move the region’s economy forward in its 2024 Investment Prospectus.
