Claudia Wright still confident on AFLW draft hopes despite broken leg ahead of combine testing

A serious leg injury means one of WA’s best AFLW talents, Claudia Wright, won’t do any of the testing at the AFLW draft combine starting on Friday.

Wright, 18, broke her fibula and sustained a syndesmosis injury in July which has forced her to watch on as the rest of her draft class are put through a physical rigours in front of recruiters from all 18 clubs.
