Cleveland Dodd inquest: Bombshell application to remove coroner from inquest over ‘apprehended bias’

A shock application to remove the presiding coroner from Cleveland Dodd’s inquest over “apprehended bias” has been made by one of Corrective Services’ top brass.

Ms Ginbey’s instructing solicitor Mintie Tantiprasut dropped the bombshell at a directions hearing on Monday that her client Christine Ginbey was seeking to have Phil Urquhart recuse himself from the proceedings, which resume for three days on October 7.
