Court Denies Cheat Sellers Appeal Over $4.3 Million Win to Bungie

Cheat seller AimJunkies has had its appeal for a new trial rejected regarding a $4.3 million win given to Bungie this past May.

Earlier this year, Bungie won a legal battle against the cheat seller AimJunkies, claiming that the cheat provider had infringed on their copyright and trademarks, among other things. The Seattle jury awarded Bungie the win, which amounted to an astonishing $4.3 million in damages and fees.

According to TorrentFreak, AimJunkies has since tried to appeal the decision and file for a new trial, both of which have been refused. As it stands, the court of appeal affirmed the $4.3 million arbitration award. The refusal of the new trial and appeal means that Bungie can now move forward with the collection of its award.

According to the AimJunkies website, the cheat provider still provides cheats to over 100 other different games.

Meanwhile, Bungie continues with its development on its next game, Marathon, which is scheduled to release sometime in 2025.
