Cult of the Lamb announces Woolhaven, its first paid expansion

Massive Monster has announced Cult of the Lamb‘s first paid expansion, Woolhaven, which sees a new realm, monsters, town, and more as the forgotten God lambs — Yngya — beckons you to rebuild a fallen snow-covered town. This comes after plenty of free expansions, like Sins of the Flesh and Unholy Alliance.

During Gamescom Opening Night Live, the hit indie game announced its first paid expansion. The expansion will seemingly offer new mechanics, such as a weather system as you rebuild the mountain town, meaning you’ll have to help your followers fend off frostbite and alongside the normal famine you already have experience dealing with. You can also explore two new dungeons. Woolhaven also introduces ranching and breeding rare creatures and ride said creations.

Beyond the bits of info we have, there is no clear answer when Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven will be available for purchase or when it will release. We just have an early 2026, so we’d imagine by March 2026 we can expect at least a release window.
