DV victim Sheree Schonian says campaign should give family, friends confidence to call out coercive control

An emotive new campaign targeting coercive control will hopefully give family and friends the confidence to recognise the signs and step in, a domestic violence survivor believes.

Speaking at the launch of the State Government’s new $5 million anti-coercive control advertising blitz, Sheree Schonian said she was only able to leave her abusive partner of 16 years with the help of her family.
