Elden Ring Meets Jack Sparrow In A Fan Edit So Epic, We’re Now Begging For An Official Pirates Of The Caribbean Collab

Elden Ring is a Souslike video game crafted by FromSoftware in collaboration with George R.R. Martin. The game brings arguably one of the most challenging gameplay mechanics with phenomenal storytelling and an open-world environment that you’ll never get tired of. Gamers embark on a journey through the shattered realms of the Lands Between and unravel the mysteries of the Elden Ring.

Recently, FromSoftware gave us Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for the game and further evolved the iconic Souslike formula. It’s truly one of the best things developers from software brought to the table. However, one Redditor’s phenomenal edit proves that what Elden Ring needs next is a Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration.

As the gaming industry has grown and evolved, it has become apparent that one of the most fantastic ways to keep players engaged is to make sure they have a constant stream of crossovers to dive into.

There’s no denying the fact that one of the most popular franchises out there is Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean. It follows the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, who is played by none other than Johnny Depp, in his quest to unravel secrets and find the treasure. In the past, the franchise has collaborated with various popular titles such as Fortnite and Sea of the Thieves.

However, now it’s time for Captain Jack Sparrow to set his eyes on the mythical world of Elden Ring. Over on the game’s official subreddit, one player has shared a fan-made edit of the series’ most iconic character fighting their way across the Lands Between.

Seriously, Hidetaka Miyazaki must consider this crossover. An Elden Ring x Pirates of the Caribbean collab could bring an epic fusion of dark fantasy and sea adventure to the game. We can imagine a scenario where a cursed pirate crew navigates through the sea and looks for treasure protected by terrifying demigods and Eldritch creatures.

Jack Sparrow could partner up with the forces of the Tarnished, which would give us a perfect blend of magic and naval battles, which gamers desperately need.

FromSoftware can even go further and bring new bosses inspired by the Disney franchise, such as Pirate Lords or Monstrous Sea Spirits. The sky’s the limit for such a crossover, and we really hope it does come to fruition.

Due to Shadow of the Erdtree’s popularity, many in the community expected that FromSoftware and Miyazaki would definitely ride on this wave and bring more content, or quite possibly, another DLC, to the game. Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen.

In a recent interview, Miyazaki confirmed that Shadow of the Erdtree will be Elden Ring‘s one and only expansion. It’s not shocking if you really think about it, as it’s quite rare for FromSoftware to give us more than one expansion for its titles.

Currently, we don’t have a shred of an idea of what the studio’s next game could end up being. While we might not see another DLC for Elden Ring, there’s always a chance that FromSoftware could bring us a full-blown sequel of some kind and bring the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover as well.

After all, it’s the biggest IP under FromSoftware’s belt; the developers wouldn’t let it go away like that.

With that said, would you like to see any other crossover for Elden Ring? If so, let us know in the comments below.
