On August 27, the iconic British band Oasis announced their reunion and a United Kingdom tour that will commence in 2025. As expected, the ticket situation for the tour has been a massive mess, and even Roger Clark from Red Dead Redemption 2 is frustrated with it.

The tickets for the tour went live today, but it quickly turned into a fiasco. Digital queues to access the website were extremely long, and barely anyone got a chance at the tickets. Many die-hard fans missed out on the tickets, while scalpers are reselling them at 5-10 times their original value.

When the tour was announced a few days ago, the whole world anticipated that tickets would fly off the shelves. Ticketmaster and GIGSANDTOURS are the two authorized distributors for the tickets, which went live for sale today.

As it stands, the ticket sales have been a massive disappointment for fans. The queues just to get on the website are so long that many have given up. Furthermore, both websites keep crashing out, kicking users out for no reason at all.

Roger Clark, who is most famous for his portrayal of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, has also come forward and scrutinized Ticketmaster for their absurd pricing of tickets. Apparently, some tickets have dynamic pricing, and with such a demand for tickets, their price has skyrocketed.

To make matters worse, scalpers are reselling Oasis tickets at exorbitant prices, with some being listed at several times their original value, making it nearly impossible for average fans to afford them. This has further fueled frustration among the Oasis fanbase, as many feel they are being priced out of an experience they have waited years for.

Gaming World Celebrates Oasis Reunion

It’s not only the hardcore fans who are thrilled about the Oasis reunion. The gaming world has been showing love to the legendary band, with Bethesda and Ubisoft posting tributes on social media to celebrate the news.

Bethesda posted an image of a map from Fallout 76 with Oasis marked as an area. The captions of the photo read, “I said maybe,” which is a line from Oasis’ iconic song “Wonderwall.”

On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed paid tribute to the Oasis reunion by posting a twist on the iconic Gallagher brothers photo, replacing Noel and Liam with Alexios and Kassandra from the franchise. For those who don’t know much, like Liam and Noel, whose feud resulted in the band breaking up, Alexios and Kassandra also have a complex sibling rivalry.

What are your thoughts on the Oasis tickets debacle? Do you believe there should be an option to buy the tour tickets in person? Let us know in the comments below.
