What is Frostpunk 2?

Frostpunk 2 is a survival city-building strategy game set 30 years after the first title, in which an apocalyptic winter takes hold of the planet and won’t release its grip. As humanity struggles to survive in settlements across the world, utilizing coal and oil to power heating mechanisms and generators, the world worsens, and people become desperate.

As in the first game, Frostpunk 2 will heavily focus on morals. Will you provide equality for your citizens? Will you force children to work instead of investing time in classrooms? Do your citizens deserve full rations after a hard day at work? You must decide how best to guide your civilization through the end times, even if that means upsetting a few groups along the way.

Do We Know the Frostpunk 2 Release Date?

Following a few delays during development, 11 bit studios finally unveiled the official release date of Frostpunk 2 as September 20. At the time of this writing, we’re just a few weeks away from the game’s launch.

If you’re a fan of the previous title, this new iteration promises completely overhauled gameplay. It continues the story of the world’s end as we know it during a winter apocalypse!
