For Valorant Players, These Gun Skins Make Them Go God Mode

It’s no secret that Riot Games puts a lot of effort into designing the weapon skins for Valorant. The game features over 500 unique skins but these skins have no effects on the gameplay. Some skins have different sounds and colored bullet traces so some players believe that they do give players a slight advantage on the battlefield.

Recently, a post on r/Valorant asked players to talk about their favorite skins in Valorant that give them an advantage on the battlefield. It is to be noted that skins in the game may provide a placebo effect, boosting player confidence. It is proven that the expensive skins are not better than other skins or standard skin in the game. As per the community, here is a list of 6 skins in Valorant that make them better:

6) 2024 Champions Phantom

As a part of the Champions 2024 Collection, Riot Games added two skins to Valorant: Champions 2024 Phantom and Champions 2024 Blade. Players strongly believe that the Phantom in this collection helps them churn out more kills.

5) Overdrive Vandal

The Overdrive Vandal was added to the game as a part of the Overdrive Collection which also featured Overdrive Sheriff, Overdrive Stinger, Overdrive Bucky, and Overdrive Blade. Players claim that the heavier sound of Overdrive Vandal helps on the battlefield.

4) VCT x SEN Classic

The VCT x SEN Classic was added to the game as part of VCT Team Capsules. Players strongly believe that the Classic skin added to the game in this bundle has a strong placebo effect as it makes them better at the game.

The Kuronami Vandal is one of the most popular Vandal skins in the game. The skin was added Valorant as a part of the Kuronami Collection which also featured skins for Sheriff, Spectre, Marshal and a Melee weapon called Kuronami no Yaiba.

The Ion Collection has been added to the game in two parts. The first was in Episode 1 and the second was in Episode 5. The entire bundle featured many skins but there was one skin in the collection that players just couldn’t let go of: Ion Operator.

1) Prelude to Chaos Vandal

Prelude to Chaos Vandal is another Vandal skin that players love using. Apart from looking good, players believe that this skin also provides an advantage. The Prelude to Chaos bundle also featured skins for Shorty, Stinger, Operator, and a melee weapon called Blade of Chaos.

There are other pay-to-win aspects of Valorant that can make you better but weapon skins is not one of them. Do you think skins actually provide a gameplay advantage? Share your views in the comments!
