GenesisCare radiation oncology hub celebrates one year of treating Great Southern cancer patients

Since opening its doors one year ago, GenesisCare radiation oncology hub has provided “crucial” care for cancer patients in the Great Southern.

The WA Country Health Service operation has assisted hundreds of patients, performing more than 4000 instances of radiation therapy, a technique that uses focused high-energy particles to target cancer cells with minimal impact on surrounding tissue.
