How to Get and Use Requisition

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has just been released today to stellar reviews. In the game, Requisition is a crucial resource. It plays a big role in unlocking new customization options, class perks, and upgrading equipment.

Whether you’re playing the Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 multiplayer or diving into the main campaign, knowing how to get and spend Requisition can boost your progress. Here’s everything you need to know about earning and using Requisition effectively.

In Space Marine 2, Requisition is mainly earned from two modes: Operations and Eternal War.

1. Operations

First up, Operations is a PVE multiplayer mode where you complete missions. Each mission rewards Requisition based on difficulty. Easier missions give less of these, and harder missions offer more. There are currently six different Operation missions available at launch, and more will be added in future updates.

To unlock more of these missions, you’ll need to progress through the campaign. Even though you can jump into Operations before finishing the campaign, it’s highly suggested you play through the story first. It gives you a better idea of the game’s mechanics and what to expect in missions, and the campaign is worth experiencing either way.

2. Eternal War

Another way to earn Requisition is by playing in the Eternal War mode. This PVP multiplayer mode has three different match types: Annihilation, Seize Ground, and Capture & Control. Even if you lose, you still earn Requisition, and matches are usually shorter than Operations, making it a quicker and perhaps a better way to collect a lot of it.

Another thing to keep in mind is Class Trials. These are tutorials for your specific class and can be found in the Armory Hall of the Battle Barge. Completing these trials will reward you with Armory Data, which can be used to further upgrade your character. There are three trials for each class.

Once you’ve collected enough Requisitions, it’s time to spend them wisely. The first thing to check is your class perks. These perks can massively improve your stats, weapons, and overall combat abilities, making tougher difficulties more manageable.

Unlocking and upgrading these perks is important, so it’s smart to invest Requisition points in them early on.

Next, you’ll want to focus on your weapons. Requisition allows you to upgrade your weapons through mastery tiers, which increases their stats. Since stronger weapons make a big difference in battle, it’s very good to spend Requisition here after taking care of your perks.

Focus on the weapons you’re most comfortable with, and upgrade them to maximize your combat power and just make the game more fun.

Make sure to prioritize perks and weapons, so you can take on tougher missions and enemies with ease, and the game does get both more fun and hectic on higher difficulties.
