It is not certain the next Naughty Dog endeavor would be The Last of Us Part 3, as it seems to be years away from materializing and fans thinking the unannounced game to be that are in for a massive disappointment.

Neil Druckmann’s Latest Game Might Be Another IP

Neil Druckmann has been reserved in his intentions to talk about his future endeavors, but he still has not shied away from teasing fans by announcing the unannounced game he is currently involved with.

According to some leaks, the game was supposed to be a medieval fantasy, but nothing can be set for sure at the moment, and these are just mere speculations about what might be in store for fans in the future.

Neil Druckmann was asked about the future games he might be working on at the moment in one of his latest interviews with Sony, to which he gave a vague account of what working in the industry means to him along with the range of video games in current time, with very little mention of the ‘new’ game he is working on.

It is almost certain that the next game is highly unlikely to be The Last of Us Part 3, as it can be deduced from his works that he might be hinting at a completely fresh IP altogether.

Good Things Come To Those Who Patiently Wait

Neil Druckmann’s Twitter bio does not shy away from announcing the unannounced game, which states that the game’s official announcement might just be lurking around the corner.

However, if you are waiting for the unannounced game to be The Last of Us Part 3, there might not be light at the end of the tunnel, as it is highly unlikely to see it being announced this early in the lifecycle of the franchise.
