I write with deep sadness to inform the people of Kalgoorlie-Boulder of the passing of my father, John Hocking, the last grandson of Sidney Ernest Hocking, the founder of the Kalgoorlie Miner.
John passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Marine Views Nursing Home in Cottesloe, Perth.
