Kalgoorlie-Boulder agencies are planning better support for visitors from remote communities after last summer’s rise in the number of people becoming displaced on the streets of the city.

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder this week said the Goldfields District Leadership Group’s summer response strategy working group recently came together for a planning workshop to develop a unified, community-driven approach to supporting individuals travelling from remote communities to Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
