King and Queen brave torrential rain to enjoy Jersey parade
The King and Queen braved a torrential downpour during The King’s Parade in Jersey, featuring the Band of the Island of Jersey, Jersey Field Squadron, veterans, emergency services, Cadets, Scouts, and Guides. Afterwards, they met with the Musical Director, Drum Major, and band members. Their tour of St Helier ended with a tea party at the Pomme d’Or Hotel, attended by veterans, royal patronages, and emergency service representatives.
