Massive AUKUS-related work will provide greater diversity for WA: Defence Minister Richard Marles
Richard Marles has urged West Australian industry and politicians to back AUKUS and shipbuilding as a generational opportunity to lessen the State’s reliance on the resources sector.
The Defence Minister also promised the Government would soon make a decision about what needs to happen at the Henderson precinct — flagging it would involve relocation of existing shipbuilders and businesses to separate secure naval work from civilian operators.
