New geographic mapping software used to produce DPIRD latest grain research map

New geographic mapping software has been used to produce the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s latest online grains research map.

The interactive map, which is produced annually, features more than 220 grains research experiments from Esperance to Kununurra and utilises a new geographic information system software, a powerful tool for mapping and analysing spatial data.
