Northbridge crash: Red Chilli Sichuan Restaurant hit by taxi after driver assaulted, loses control
A taxi driver has been taken to hospital after being brutally assaulted by a passenger before his car slammed into a popular Chinese restaurant in Northbridge, injuring multiple people.
WA Police are trying to piece together what led to the incident, which occurred at 3.45am on Sunday, after four people were picked up by a taxi outside a nightclub on James Street.
