PS5 Pro Equivalent PC Would Cost Way More Than $700, Says Tech Expert

Oh lord I had to search this up once I read this. The first thing he does is add a Ryzen 3600 CPU to the list. A 5 year old CPU that’s on AM4 platform that is at end of life. This is why I can’t stand these YouTubers there recommending dead end platforms. Absolutely silly in my view imagine is someone who didn’t know about PC’s seen this and trusted him.

Gets to storage admits ps5 has a really fast 2TB. Knows it’s won’t fit his narrative so opts for a slower drive. This is embarrassing lol. So far I’ll give him credit. At least he explains in detail why he is choosing these parts. So far I’m not impressed with his parts.

Now he has chosen a rtx 4070. I agree with this. Yes it’s better than the Pro GPU and costs more. But he can’t be selecting the Ryzen 6800 as you are then comparing apples to oranges here. FSR is not AI technology unlike PSSR or DLSS.

Now he has gotten to well you know subscription costs and disc drive. Where is the disc drive in his pc build? Where is that 4k Blu-ray drive. What if I don’t play online. There is a lot of them people on playstation. Out of the 100+ million PS4 owners and 60+ ps5 users. Sony has about 50million active subscribers. If we have to include all these stuff where was his $100 windows key?

So let’s get this straight. He went with a 5 year old CPU on a end of life platform. He went with slower SSD. A better GPU and in the end it cost more. He excluded the price of a Official windows key.

Plus he failed explain that. If that PC ain’t playing games at 4k all the time. If he lowers the resolution to say 1440p you will then be running into bottlenecks because of that CPU.
