The Redmi K Pad 2 was officially launched on February 28, 2024, in Beijing, China, featuring an 8.8-inch 3K display and powered by the Dimensity 9500 chip. According to Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and General Manager of the Redmi Brand, “We are excited to bring this powerful and feature-rich tablet to the market, offering users a great balance between performance and affordability.” The Redmi K Pad 2 is priced at 1,299 yuan (approximately $185 USD) for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The device boasts a high-resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming and video streaming. It also features a large 10,000mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging. In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi K Pad 2 has a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP front camera.
