Reports of sexual incidents inside WA mental health services on the rise
Two cases a week of sexual assault or harassment are being reported from inside WA’s mental health system, data on the State’s most vulnerable patients has revealed.
The annual report released last week by WA’s Chief Psychiatrist Nathan Gibson reveals notifications of sexual incidents — including assaults — increased by 21 per cent in the past year.
