Stellar Blade teases new, possibly horror-themed, update

Stellar Blade developer, Shift Up, is teasing what looks to be a new update headed out the door next week. While not confirmed, the aesthetic of the image and timing looks to be horror-themed.

On Twitter, the dev shared an image with a simple caption of “in one week.” The corridor is red-orange and features stark differences to the game’s normal high-tech fare. As Noisy Pixel points out, it might be for an update limited to the spooky season, a DLC, or a collaboration between it and a horror IP.

As it stands, there isn’t any info, so we’re just left guessing, but we don’t have long to wait until the dev comes clean about what this teaser is meant to represent. Meanwhile, we already know the dev isn’t through with the IP, as a new entry is confirmed.
