Teen accused of raping jogger released into community
A teen accused of ambushing a female jogger, throwing her to the ground and raping her in a random attack has been released back into the community.
The 16-year-old boy made a second bid for freedom on Friday after a children’s court magistrate denied his first bail application earlier in September as he was an unacceptable risk to the community.
