The Goldfields Indonesian Community Association held an afternoon of traditional games and cuisine this month to mark the 79th Indonesian Independence Day.
The national holiday commemorates the anniversary of Indonesia’s proclamation of independence on August 17, 1945, by Indonesia’s then political leader president Sukarno.
