Social Services Minister Amanda Rishworth has issued a scathing takedown of the country’s biggest supermarkets amid damning allegations they jacked up prices and lied to customers.
Australia’s consumer rights watchdog announced on Monday it was suing Coles and Woolworths for temporarily hiking prices on hundreds of items so they could appear to drop prices and promote them as discounted.
