Well… “best version” is going to be a bit subjective, based on some of its alterations. But let’s go with your argument. The case still remains: is the ‘best’ version worth $60 or should you settle for the back compat version that’s sometimes on sale for $10? Like, to expect reviewers to avoid this dilemma inherent with an Until Dawn remaster is unfair. It’s going to be a part of some or many critics’ overall assessment.
