Maintenance workers asking for improved wages and allowances from Chevron contractor Altrad say they will move on industrial action this week if their employer doesn’t put forward a decent offer.
The multinational oil and gas servicer is currently locked in negotiations with the Offshore Alliance — a partnership between the Maritime Union of Australia and Australian Workers Union — to pin down the terms of a new enterprise agreement.
