It feels like this console generation is going on significantly longer than usual, though it’s not. If you look back at historical data for the major systems, we’re only about halfway through the lifespan of this current generation, give or take, which means there’s room for improvement and new versions to launch worldwide. First up is the PS5 Pro, right? When will the PS5 Pro be released to us eager fans?

When is the PS5 Pro Release Date?

While we don’t yet have an official release date for the PS5 Pro, rumors indicate it will launch sometime in November. That’s perfect timing, of course. It’s right before the holiday season, before most people start buying all of their presents for friends and family, meaning Sony could snag a ton of holiday sales. Of course, that is dependent on the cost of the system. If it’s too expensive, many will wait.

Following the recent 30th-anniversary image leak, which includes the PS5 Pro outline, Sony will either drip-feed us teasers until it’s time for an official reveal or showcase the whole system before any more leaks ruin the surprise. It’ll be interesting to see!

When Will We See More From PlayStation?

Insider Gaming previously reported on a PlayStation State of Play coming sometime in late September. If that’s the case, the big console reveal will likely happen then and there. I can’t think of a better time for Sony to unveil such a massive bombshell like a brand-new system. If they reveal the system at the end of September, then a November launch certainly makes the most sense.
