Whoever Buys the Nintendo Alarm Clock Has Akon’s ‘Lonely’ in Their Playlist
Nintendo’s latest device, Alarmo, is a unique alarm clock that will be perfect for single people. This interactive alarm clock lets you set a time and select from 35 scenes from across 5 Nintendo titles, which is exciting, but some features of this clock will only work best if you sleep alone.
Alarmo has a sensor that detects hand gestures, allowing users to snooze or end alarms. However, Nintendo suggests that you should use Button Mode if you sleep with multiple people or with pets. The Button Mode basically turns Alarmo into a traditional alarm clock as users will snooze/end alarms using the button.
Nintendo’s Alarmo Is Perfect For Lonely People
Nintendo’s latest product is not a Switch 2 but it is a unique alarm clock called Alarmo which will make your mornings exciting but only if you’re single. This $99.99 interactive alarm clock comes with sensors that detect hand gestures and movements, but Nintendo has suggested that you use the traditional button mode if you sleep with someone or have pets. People on social media quickly pointed out that Nintendo designed a product that is perfect for lonely people.
according to the product page none of the motion sensor features here will work if you’re sleeping with someone else. nintendo made an alarm clock for single people https://t.co/ltYyrzPONt

The reason why Nintendo is asking users to use button mode is because Alarmo would switch off the alarm if the user gets out of bed. The sensor would catch even the slightest movement so the addition of the motion detection system is pointless if someone else triggers it.
Nintendo’s Alarmo Will Be Released For Everyone In Early 2025
Alarmo features 35 audio “scenes” with immersive sounds that are used from five different Switch games: Breath of the Wild, Pikmin 4, Splatoon 3, Super Mario Odyssey, and Ring Fit Adventure. In the future, sounds from Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 will also be added to the device.
As per their official website, Nintendo Switch Online members in the United States and Canada can purchase Alarmo online via the My Nintendo Store before it is available to purchase by the general public. Nintendo also revealed that Alarmo is compatible with twin to king-sized beds and should be placed facing the center of the bed, within arm’s reach, and no higher than 8 inches above the sleeper.
This will certainly spice up your daily wake-up routine. Do you think this product is worth its price tag? Share your opinions in the comments.
