News that the Windsor Cinema in Nedlands is being spruiked as a potential high-rise redevelopment site in a new sales advert should alarm us all.

The art deco building is not on the State Heritage Register, having twice been rejected by the Heritage Council of WA for apparently not having sufficient cultural heritage significance.
