The video game development was adversely affected after the Covid-19 pandemic. The industry is now slowly stabilizing and taking huge leaps forward with interest in the future of game development.

Elsewhere Entertainment is the biggest example of this leap, as this studio is dedicated to creating unique games with the help of many industry experts from the teams of Cyberpunk, Witcher, The Last of Us, and Uncharted, among many more.

These industry experts are out on a big adventure to redefine the way AAA titles are looked upon by creating narrative-driven games with engaging and vast gameplay. This studio can be categorized as a standalone entity that is dedicated to executing bold and creative ideas with the help of industry veterans.

However, as of now there have been no updates regarding the game the studio is currently developing but given the involvement of narrative experts and the hiring of physics engineers and NPC behavior experts, it can be speculated that the next game will be a narrative-heavy game with complex gameplay elements.

Activision, in recent years, had been focusing largely on online and mobile games, which eventually led to the company selling for a huge amount of $72 billion to Microsoft. With the merger of the two, now a separate entity is born with a promising future ahead of itself.

The first game from the Poland-based studio is still a mystery, as nothing of significance has been revealed by it. However, the studio has been open to hiring as it looks towards increasing the staff. This expansion points in the direction of a new game.

The company’s recent expansion to Sweden, an area rich with talented developers due to the presence of big studios like Ubisoft Massive, Mojang, Trasier, and IO Entertainment, also points towards the direction of new games.

However, these are mere speculations that cannot be confirmed unless an official announcement is released by Microsoft. Even if there is a game under development, it might be years before we can hear something about it since video game development takes a lot of time from inception to completion.

Elsewhere Entertainment is live now and is actively increasing their hiring network to many countries. The studio appears to be going in the right direction, and we can’t wait to see what the studio has in store for us. What do you think about Elsewhere Entertainment’s future?
