State Government transfers freehold land to Tjiwarl native title holders in northern Goldfields

The State Government has this week transferred a big parcel of freehold land to the Tjiwarl native title holders in the northern Goldfields under the terms of an Indigenous land use agreement.

The government said the land between Leinster and Wiluna was known as Tjiwarl (Logan Springs), and would be jointly managed by the government and Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation under the Tjiwarl Palyakuwa (Agreement).
